Our Story
MPS was founded in 2022 in Napa Valley to establish a higher and more consistent standard for protective services. Licensed by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) as PPO 121604, MPS provides both armed and unarmed security across a wide range of industries. What began as a single-operator firm has grown into a provider trusted throughout Northern California. Our work spans private estates and resorts, corporate offices and law practices, residential communities, large-scale events, and construction projects. While the scale and setting may differ, the foundation remains constant: preparation, disciplined execution, and accountability.
MPS emerged during a period of increased demand for professional security in California. Rising client expectations, combined with a shortage of qualified providers, created a gap in the industry. MPS was built to fill that gap by applying proven principles: anticipate risks, prepare thoroughly, and supervise every assignment to standard. From its earliest contracts in Napa Valley to current operations across the state, those principles have remained unchanged.

Our Team
The strength of MPS lies in the people who represent it in the field. Every guard, supervisor, and dispatcher is selected with the expectation that they reflect the company’s standards of professionalism and accountability. Our personnel come from three primary backgrounds. From the private sector, we find individuals experienced in client service, confidentiality, and discretion. From the military, we draw men and women who carry discipline, adaptability, and composure under pressure. From law enforcement, we bring in those with judgment, accountability, and a clear understanding of safety. Over half of our staff bring prior military or law enforcement experience, balanced by private sector professionals skilled in client service. This mix creates a workforce able to adapt to different environments with steadiness and reliability.
Beyond their experience, our staff are trained and licensed to meet BSIS requirements, with additional instruction in situational awareness, conflict management, and first aid. Supervisors oversee assignments in real time, reinforcing accountability and ensuring consistent performance. The result is a workforce defined by preparation and professionalism — people who arrive ready, fit the environment they are assigned to, and carry out their role with precision.

Reporting is handled with the same discipline — detailed, timely, and clear. These systems are integral to how MPS maintains standards in environments where details matter.
Our role is to adapt to the setting while holding to the same expectations across assignments.
