Like it or not, AI is shaping the future—and at Mendoza Private Security, we're all in. The old ways of doing security just aren’t cutting it anymore. Traditional patrol routes? They’ve become predictable, repetitive, and often ineffective. Worse yet, what happens when your patrol team isn’t onsite?
Imagine this scenario: your first patrol is at 10 PM, then you hit a few other locations, returning to the original site around 2 AM. But by then, the damage is already done—broken windows, stolen equipment. Now all you’re left with is filing an incident report. The client isn’t happy, because all you did was document the problem instead of preventing it. And the cycle repeats—guards driving around aimlessly, hitting the same sites at the same times every night, without much impact.

At MPS, we’ve decided to do things differently. And for our competitors, this one’s on us: we call it Dynamic Vehicle Patrols. You heard it here first! So, what exactly does that mean?
In the simplest terms, it means our patrols are conducted at the right time, not just a scheduled or random time. But how do we figure out the best time for each site? The answer is simple: AI-enhanced equipment.
One of the most common tools we use is AI-driven cameras, and we’re proud to say that when it comes to preventing theft, loss, and damage, we’re number one. Why? Because we don’t just patrol. We set up cameras on the properties we protect—usually four, at least one—so we can keep an eye on things, even when we’re not physically there.
The beauty of this system is the real-time capability. AI software detects, tracks, and alerts our dispatch the moment something suspicious happens. We get live video feeds, passive monitoring, and human verification to assess whether there’s an actual threat. Depending on the situation, we either dispatch one of our Incident Response Teams (more on them in a future post) or contact local law enforcement, providing all the necessary details to assist with an arrest.
But we don’t stop there. Every morning, we review the footage from the night before, logging any unusual activity. For example, if someone suspicious is seen wandering on your property at 2 AM for two nights in a row, guess what time we’ll schedule our next patrol?
That’s what sets us apart. We’re proactive about your safety and security. We’re not just reacting after something bad happens—we’re getting there before it does. (Most of the time, anyway!)
